Platform Lifts

When a ramp won't fit, a lift will.

For porches, decks and entries with a tall rise, a vertical platform lift takes up a fraction of the footprint of a ramp and gives full wheelchair access with the push of a button.

  • Vertical platform lifts up to 14 ft of travel
  • Weather-rated for North Carolina summers and winters
  • Battery backup operates during power outages
  • Powder-coated steel — choose a finish that matches the home
  • Smaller footprint than a ramp on tight lots

Where platform lifts make sense

Anytime the rise from grade to the entry is more than about 30 inches, a ramp becomes long, expensive and visually dominant. Platform lifts work especially well on back decks, screened porches, raised front porches and split-level homes common across the Triangle.

Permits & code

Most municipalities in Wake, Chatham, Durham and Orange counties require a permit for platform lift installation. We handle the paperwork, inspections and any HOA correspondence so you don't have to.

Serving Triangle homes

Platform lifts installed across Apex, Cary, Pittsboro, Morrisville, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Clayton, Durham, Chapel Hill and Carrboro.
